Read MoreAssociated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM), its 3,500 member companies and their thousands of employees thank Robert A. DeLeo for his service to the commonwealth as Speaker of the House, and as a State Representative from Nineteenth Suffolk District.
The Speaker has been a strong leader, approachable and willing to work with AIM and others on issues ranging from competitiveness, workforce training and tax policy to energy, health care, and labor law.
That collaborative approach extended to parties on all sides of important issues and is a measure of the fairness, and willingness to listen to every side of an issue, that is a hallmark of the Speaker DeLeo’s time in office.
We wish Speaker DeLeo well as he assumes a new role at his Alma Mater, Northeastern University.
