Republican candidate for governor Charlie Baker discussed economic inequality, health-care cost transparency, the minimum wage, and other issues this morning during a forum sponsored by AIM, Denterlein and NAIOP Massachusetts.
It was the second a series of conversations that the three organizations are hosting with the major gubernatorial candidates. Attorney General and Democratic candidate Martha Coakley spoke onĀ May 5 and fellow Democrat Treasurer Steve Grosman will appear on May 19.
Baker shared his views in an interview format with former news anchor and current Denterlein advisor R.D. Sahl.
The objective is to allow employers to review each candidate’s positions on important issues. The video below includes brief segments of Baker’s comments, but AIM plans eventually to put the full interview with each candidate on its web site.
AIM member employers are welcome to attend next week’s session at the UMass Club, though seating is limited. Please make your reservations by contacting Nicole Iannucci at niannucci@denterlein.com or by calling 617-482-0042.
