AIM President and CEO is among 12 women honored with the 2025 Icon Awards: Women Who Mean Business from the Boston Business Journal.
The awards spotlight leadership for women making waves in the Greater Boston business scene. The BBJ cited Thomson as “an outspoken advocate for businesses across industries.”
Icon Award winners will be honored at an event on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza.
It marks the second time in as many months that the business publication has honored the AIM CEO. Thomson was also recognized as a 2025 Power 50 Nominee.
“I am humbled and grateful to the Boston Business Journal to be honored with the 2025 Icon Award. The award reflects vibrancy of AIM and the professionalism of the AIM team as we represent the interests of Massachusetts business from every sector of the economy,” Thomson said.
Thomson became the first female CEO of Associated Industries of Massachusetts in January 2024. She has successfully expanded the progress AIM has made in diversifying its membership and advancing policies that support both economic competitiveness and economic opportunity for the people of Massachusetts.
