Prior to joining AIM, Magda was a Research Analyst on the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, & Energy in the Massachusetts State Legislature. During her seven years with the committee, she worked on several key pieces of energy legislation, including the 2018 Act to advance clean energy, the 2021 Act creating a next-generation roadmap for Massachusetts climate policy, and the 2022 Act driving clean energy and offshore wind. These laws resulted in support for the development of affordable, resilient, and clean energy technologies in the Commonwealth. They also created vocational training and job opportunities in the clean energy industry.
Magda received her B.A. from UMass Amherst, her M.A. from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and most recently an Offshore Wind Professional Certificate from The Clean Energy Extension at UMass Amherst. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband and young son. At AIM, Magda focuses on energy policy and serves as a point of contact for AIM’s Western Massachusetts members.
If not at AIM, Magda would own and operate a bookstore/coffee shop, where the coffee would always be free for friends and family!
