Federal supply and service contractors with 100 or more employees must certify that they have established and maintained affirmative-action programs (AAPs) by June 30. For the first time, contractors and subcontractors will verify compliance through an online Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) Verification Portal.

If you are unsure if you need AAPs, AIM HR Solutions can also help you understand the requirements. AAPs are required for employers with 50 or more employees and at least one federal contract of $50,000 or more. The verification process only applies to federal contractors and subcontractors with 100 or more employees.
