How Are We Doing at Mid-Year?

It’s been a head-spinning first six months of 2025 here at AIM.

From legislative wins to speaking out on tariffs to convening extraordinary discussions with elected officials like Governor Maura Healey, Congresswoman Lori Trahan and MBTA General Manager Philip Eng, AIM has given its 3,400 member employers a voice in shaping the Massachusetts economy.

That’s why I was proud last week to publish AIM’s mid-year report for 2025. The report is part of our commitment to transparency about the value we provide to the companies that make up this dynamic association.

READ THE REPORT

This year has been defined by momentum, member engagement, and meaningful impact. We’ve been your advocate in policy conversations, your partner in navigating complex workforce challenges, and your connector across sectors and regions.

  • Advocacy that delivers – Our team submitted dozens of testimonies, met with lawmakers across the state, and helped shape key policies — including pay transparency, MBTA reform and data privacy protections.
  • Events that connect – We’ve hosted 22 events with more than 2,400 attendees. These gatherings reflect AIM’s strength as a convener and thought leader.
  • Growth that energizes – We’ve welcomed dozens of new member organizations into the AIM community — from global companies to small businesses. Our network is broader, stronger and more diverse than ever.
  • Support that matters – AIM HR Solutions has supported 290 organizations this year alone —delivering training, consulting, and compliance guidance that members count on every day.
  • Inclusion that drives impact – We’ve expanded our supplier diversity work, matched members with new vendors, supported grant applications, and helped underrepresented businesses grow.

Just as publicly traded companies answer to their shareholders, AIM answers to its members, large and small, from every industry and across the commonwealth. Please review our mid-year report and let me know what you think.

When we come together, we move Massachusetts forward. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait tosee what we build in the second half of 2025.
