Hilferty Re-Elected AIM Board Chair; 14 Directors Return to Board

AIM members last week re-elected 14 members of the organization’s Board of Directors in electronic balloting that was affirmed Friday during a special virtual meeting of the membership.
The board separately re-elected Chair Joanne Hilferty to a second term and named 14 members of the board to serve on the AIM Executive Committee.
The 2020 election schedule is different than in previous years because of COVID-19 restrictions and the subsequent postponement of the AIM Annual Meeting at which board elections normally take place. Incumbent members of the board of directors will stood for election last week while new members of the board will be nominated in the fall.
“These are extraordinary times and the Board of Directors has provided extraordinary leadership to the association,” Ms. Hilferty said.
“We continue to work to ensure that the AIM board is engaged, diverse and representative of the full variety of Massachusetts employers.”

Electronic ballots were sent on June 8 to key contacts at AIM member companies and 98 percent of company representatives voted to approve the slate as presented.
The Board of Directors elected the following slate of officers to lead the association for the next year:
