Robert Lewis Jr., Founder and President of The BASE, and AIM President and CEO John Regan both grew up in Boston.

One runs a nationally recognized organization that uses baseball to promote achievement among urban youth; the other leads the largest business association in Massachusetts. One is Black, the other white.

In an Op-Ed article published in the Boston Business Journal, the two agree that the current movement to ensure racial equity will be measured by the sharing of success from the boardroom to the neighborhood.
