Benefits of Participation

The Committee offers life sciences members a unique opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and policymakers, focusing specifically on the role of their industry within both the Massachusetts and national healthcare systems.

These discussions shape critical health policy decisions affecting the sector and explore workforce solutions to sustain life sciences as one of the state’s largest employment industries.

The Committee meets at least twice per year, with ongoing communication and outreach, including coordination with the Healthcare Committee.

Past events have featured distinguished guests, including the co-chairs of the Legislative Life Sciences Caucus, House and Senate Chairs of the Committee on Health Care Financing, and other industry leaders. AIM also provides life sciences members with valuable insights on public policy issues, as well as best practices in productivity, education and training, innovation, and business development.
