AIM-IBC offers networking opportunities and programs that assist, support, and educate the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on a global scale.

Committee Purpose/Mission

The AIM International Business Council (AIM-IBC) helps Massachusetts companies grow their international business.  AIM-IBC connects companies with resources, makes introductions to trade experts, and organizes events to educate business professionals about key global trade issues: supply chain, tariffs, regulations, and more.  The Council meets regularly.

Benefits and Why Members Engage

  • AIM Trade Talks – These events feature experienced global trade professionals discussing how they are managing current international business challenges.  Speakers include C-suite executives from Massachusetts manufacturing companies and services firms, academic leaders, researchers, and logistics experts.
  • AIM Global Trade Symposium – The symposium features high-profile speakers addressing global trade issues.  Previous keynoters include the Massachusetts Governor, the Chief Economist of IHSMarkit, and the CEOs of prominent employers in the Commonwealth.
  • AIM Global Trade Awards – The awards recognize and celebrate Massachusetts companies exemplifying success in international business through creativity, innovation, agility, investment, job growth, and partnerships.
  • Invitation-Only Events with Diplomats – Recent events include in-person meetings at AIM with the Mexico Ambassador to the US and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
