Committee Purpose & Mission

The AIM International Business Council (AIM-IBC) helps Massachusetts companies grow their international business.  AIM-IBC connects companies with resources, makes introductions to trade experts, and organizes events to educate business professionals about key global trade issues: supply chain, tariffs, regulations, and more.  The Council meets regularly.

AIM Global Trade Symposium—This symposium features high-profile speakers who address global trade issues. Previous keynoters have included the Massachusetts Governor, the Chief Economist of IHSMarkit, and the CEOs of prominent employers in the Commonwealth.

AIM Global Trade Awards—The awards recognize and celebrate Massachusetts companies that have achieved success in international business through creativity, innovation, agility, investment, job growth, and partnerships.

Invitation-Only Events with Diplomats – Recent events include in-person meetings at AIM with the Mexico Ambassador to the US and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
