Committee Purpose & Mission

AIM’s Healthcare Committee provides the association with strategic guidance in shaping and advancing its public policy agenda. It serves as a forum for representatives from the healthcare industry and business community to collaborate on issues affecting the cost and accessibility of healthcare.

The Committee stays engaged through regular email communications and up to three scheduled meetings per year, offering members timely updates and in-depth analysis of key legislative and regulatory issues impacting employers.

Benefits of Participation

The Committee remains committed to advocating for employer-friendly state and federal policies while empowering AIM members to take a proactive role in managing their healthcare costs. This includes supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive wellness programs and promoting the use of cost and quality transparency tools.

Past Healthcare Committee meetings have featured distinguished guests such as the House and Senate Chairs of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, the Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, and leadership from the Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA), among others.
