Read MoreAIM-member manufacturers from throughout Massachusetts will gather on Beacon Hill next Monday to discuss public-policy issues that affect the future of their industry in Massachusetts.
Manufacturing Day at the State House will include briefings from key legislators, discussion of issues affecting manufacturers and one-on-one meetings with elected officials. Scheduled speakers include the co-chairs of the Legislature’s Manufacturing Caucus, Representative Jeffrey N. Roy (D-Franklin) and Senator Paul R. Feeney (D-Foxborough).
AIM staff members are assisting member manufacturers in scheduling one-on-one meetings with elected officials or their staff in advance of the event.
The event will run from 11 am – 1 pm in Massachusetts State House Room 428. Participants will have an opportunity to network with peers over lunch and refreshments.
“The voices of AIM members are critical to shaping policies that impact Massachusetts manufacturers. We look forward to substantive discussions that will help manufacturing companies grow and prosper here in Massachusetts,” said Stephanie Swanson, Executive Vice President of Government Affairs at AIM.
Manufacturers who wish to participate may contact Magda Garncarz, Vice President of Government Affairs, at mgarncarz@AIMnet.org.
