Read MoreAssociated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM) has announced two key staff promotions as the statewide business association prepares to represent the interests of employers in 2026.
Nurys Camargo has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Member Services after joining AIM as Vice President of Member Services in June 2025. She is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of membership growth, retention, and engagement strategies aligned with AIM’s strategic goals and objectives.
Courtney Sullivan has been named Chief of Staff for the organization. Sullivan joined AIM in January 2024 as Vice President of Administration. She coordinates AIM strategies involving the CEO, serves as key liaison with the AIM Board of Directors, and leads special projects on behalf of the organization.
“The promotions of these two gifted people represent AIM’s determination to assemble the most talented team possible to represent our 3,400 member companies. Nurys and Courtney represent the best of AIM, and we’re delighted to recognize their great work with these promotions,” said Brooke Thomson, President and CEO.
Nurys Camargo joined AIM after spending four-and-a-half years as the Social Justice Appointee to the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. She previously served for seven years as Regional Director of External Affairs for New England at AT&T.
Camargo has been named among the 100 most influential Bostonians by Boston magazine, and has received a bevy of awards, including the Amplify LatinX Award, the Hero Among Us Award from the Boston Celtics and the Feminist in Action Award from MassNow.
Before joining AIM, Sullivan was the program coordinator in the Office of the Commissioner at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She served mainly as a liaison to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, among other duties.
She has also held administrative positions working for the Vice President of Harvard Library and the University Librarian at Harvard University and served for over a decade as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
