Established in 1991, the Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM) Foundation is a 501 c(3) organization that seeks to ensure that fairness, diversity, and inclusion are constituent elements of economic progress for business owners and workers alike.  

The Foundation is committed to enhancing the economic well-being of Massachusetts residents by fostering growth opportunities for employers and employees, particularly those who have traditionally been marginalized. By leveraging expert insights in law, economics, energy, health care, taxes, and insurance, the AIM Foundation ensures that Massachusetts remains economically competitive both nationally and globally.

The Foundation’s vision is to foster collaboration among business leaders, elected officials, and other experts to solve the pressing economic challenges that face Massachusetts.  


Mission

The AIM Foundation: 

  • Is committed to promoting corporate community engagement at the federal, state, and local levels by providing education and advancement of policies that strengthen business and create an economy that builds opportunities for growth and progress.
  • Provides research and education on issues that strengthen the economic climate.
  • Focuses on examining public-policy issues of critical importance to the Commonwealth and encouraging open dialogue by supporting high-quality, independent, and non-partisan research, analysis, and education.
  • Partners, when appropriate, with public and private institutions to enhance the level of discourse.
  • Provides accurate, unbiased research and balanced, thoughtful recommendations that strengthen the state’s finances and economy to advance the long-term well-being of the Commonwealth.

AIM Business Connect (ABC) is a key initiative of the AIM Foundation.  

The Foundation believes that entrepreneurship is a powerful path to building wealth and achieving financial independence. Successful businesses create jobs, stimulate economic activity in their communities, and ultimately create multigenerational wealth.
