Anne Klibanski, M.D., is the President and CEO of Mass General Brigham, a Boston-based integrated healthcare system that includes internationally known Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, nationally recognized specialty hospitals, including Mass Eye and Ear, McLean, and Spaulding Rehabilitation, seven community hospitals, a health insurance company, physician networks, community health centers, home care, and long-term care services.
Appointed to her role as President and CEO in June 2019, Dr. Klibanski has led the clinical integration of services across the system, along with the development of new digital platforms, including virtual urgent care and streamlined online second opinions, to make it easier for patients to access Mass General Brigham’s world-class care. She has overseen increased investment in cutting-edge research that has the potential to revolutionize treatments, such as gene and cell therapy.
