Karen Wallace

Executive Vice President of Economic Inclusion and Diversity

As Executive Vice President of Economic Inclusion and Diversity, Karen is responsible for developing strategies that support the inclusion and integration of diverse companies in the Massachusetts business ecosystem.  She implements programs, internally and externally, that advance the needs of all AIM constituents, including BIPOC, women, LGBTQ+, veteran, and disabled-owned businesses as well as programs that address the needs of these individuals in the workplace. Her work efforts are strengthened by AIM’s belief that business can be a positive force for change in creating a more prosperous and equitable world.

Before her current role, Karen led AIM’s branding and marketing efforts. She also managed her marketing consulting firm with clients such as Northeastern University and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Additionally, she spent more than 20 years leading B2B, B2C, B2B2C, and corporate marketing efforts at Fidelity Investments as Senior Vice President of Communications and Branding.

“If I were not working at AIM, I would teach financial literacy in an urban environment, or I would own and operate a luxury spa/wellness facility.  Maybe I would do both!”
