Policy Watch

Training Tax Credit

Provide a 50 percent tax credit for eligible expenses for employees that receive training to achieve successful certification through the Massachusetts Manufacturing Advancement Center Workforce Innovation Collaborative’s (MACWIC) Applied Manufacturing Technology Pathway Certification Program.

Public Schools

AIM addresses K-12 education reform issues in partnership with the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE). For more than two decades, MBAE has been the voice of business on education policy, highlighting the important role of K-12 education in preparing students to become tomorrow’s workforce. AIM’s focus continues to be increased funding for high school career pathways and industry-recognized credentials to prepare students for college and career success, and targeted funding to increase students’ educational opportunity across the Commonwealth while eliminating demonstrated achievement gaps.
